The pair appear as guests on a Give Them Lala podcast , in which Fox talks about the immediate connection she felt toward Kelly from the outset of filming Midnight in the Switchgrass.
“I was like, ‘Who is going to play this role?’ And he was like, ‘Oh, we just got Machine Gun Kelly,’ and immediately, I was like, ‘Uh oh,’” Fox says. “Because I knew, I could feel that some wild s— was going to happen to me from that meeting, but I wasn’t yet sure what. May 19, 2023: MGK and Fox are “slowly” reconciling as their wedding planning “remains halted.”
Following the couple’s recent public outing, an insider told People that Fox and Kelly are still “slowly” working on their relationship.
“They are slowly working on reconciling but ’s totally in the dog house still,” the source told the outlet. “He’s doing whatever he can to get her back, and she’s making him work for it. It’s still an unhealthy dynamic though, and their friends just don’t see this lasting.”

Her website reads: “I started playing guitar when I was around 10 years old after listening to Led Zeppelin in the car with my dad. An insider tells Entertainment Tonight that the couple have fully reconciled and are discussing next steps to moving forward with wedding planning.
“Everything between Megan and Machine Gun Kelly has been great lately. They’re in a really good place in their relationship and have worked to get things back on track,” the source says. “They are fully back together and enjoying it. They are talking about their future plans and about moving forward with their engagement and wedding planning.”
The couple have reportedly been making an effort to make their relationship work, with a source telling ET last month that Fox has been “very adamant” that they continue to attend couples therapy.
Fox returned to Instagram to deny cheating rumors.

August 17, 2022: They dispel recent breakup rumors.
The two go out on a lunch date in Brentwood, California, putting to rest rumors surrounding a breakup. Per photos obtained by TMZ, the two are seen on a stroll with their arms wrapped around one another while in bright, edgy coordinated ensembles.
Fox wears a monochrome light blue set featuring a zip-up, cropped tank, and shorts, and Kelly pairs his pink-dyed hair with a graphic long-sleeved tee featuring a bright pink illustration of a cat.
The breakup rumors escalated largely after the two noticeably flaunted each other less frequently on social media over the last several months—and after Kelly darkly confessed in his newly released Hulu documentary, Life in Pink, that he had nearly committed suicide one night while on the phone with Fox.
“I called Megan, I was like, ‘You aren’t here for me,’” he says in the documentary. “I’m in my room, and I’m, like, freaking out on her, and, dude, I put the shotgun in my mouth, and I’m yelling on the phone, and, like, the barrel’s in my mouth. The actor announces on Instagram that she has written a book of poems, titled Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, which will be released on November 7.
She shares the cover image of the book, which features an illustration of a snake moving through a pair of lips set against a red-and-white gradient background. “These poems were written in an attempt to excise the illness that had taken root in me because of my silence,” Fox writes. “I’ve spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins. My freedom lives in these pages and I hope that my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and their identity by using their voice to illuminate what’s been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness.”
MGK shares his support for Fox’s new endeavor in the comment section, writing, “Proud of you .”

February 19, 2023: Fox shuts down cheating rumors, but is “still not in a good place” with Kelly.
Fox addresses recent cheating rumors in a statement on Instagram, clarifying that there has been no infidelity in her and MGK’s relationship, and that news stories stating otherwise are “random” and “baseless.”
“There has been no third-party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes, but is not limited to … actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons,” Fox writes in a screenshotted message from her Notes app. “While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now.”

A source later tells People that the couple are “still not in a good place,” adding that Fox’s statement was largely a backtracking attempt following the unexpected social media frenzy spurred by her recent Instagram activity, in which she seems to have hinted at Kelly’s infidelity.
“She’s now posted that there was no cheating, but she initially thought there was and now is backtracking a bit,” the source says. “She was definitely hinting at infidelity with her first post. She regrets making it all so public, but was really upset in the moment.”
“Their relationship is crazy and intense,” the source continues, adding, “yet it wouldn’t be shocking if they were back together completely by the end of the week.”
