Britney spears reportedly signed a prenuptial agreement with her now husband Sam Asghari.
On Monday June 13, 3022, TMZ reported that sources close to the singer claim she signed the document to ensure that Asghari will not be able to obtain any of her multi-million-dollar income if they divorce.
Spears previously filed court papers which state that she doesn’t want her father to ‘impede’ a prenuptial agreement, which she is believed to be commissioning, prior to her marriage to Sam Asghari.

While several well wishes shared congratulatory messages for the pair following their engagement, some fans were quick to mention the importance of a prenup in order to protect both of the stars’ finances.
Actor Octavia Spencer was among Spears’ followers who commented about a contract prior to the couple’s marriage, commented on the singer’s engagement post: ‘Make him sign a prenup.’
While some fans found Spencer’s comment unsolicited, Asghari has since joked on his Instagram Stories that the pair would be getting an ‘iron clad prenup’.
‘Of course we’re getting iron clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day, ’ he replied to one comment about a possible contract.

Following her and Asghari’s wedding, Spears opened up about having had a ‘panic attack’ before her and the actor’s nuptials.
Reflecting on the big day, the ‘Womanizer’ singer shared a series of wedding photos along with a video clip to her Instagram feed. The post was accompanied with a caption that addressed her pre-wedding nerves. She wrote that she had a ‘panic attack’ before adding: ‘And then got it together.’
In 2021 Asghari, who remains relatively private about his relationship with Spears, told People: ‘I have always wanted nothing but the best for my better half, and will continue to support her following her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in 2019 Asghari suggested that marriage was on the cards for the pair.
‘This is something that every couple should do,’ he said of marriage. ‘That’s the whole point of a relationship—we are a family. … Trust me, if we do ever get married, everybody’s going to know.’
However, in 2016 Spears told James Corden that another wedding wasn’t on the cards.

Now, it seems that Britney’s latest romance has entered a new chapter. She first posted the news on her Instagram page, where she received a bevy of well wishes from fans and fellow stars.
Britney has been married twice before — first to childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander, although only for 55 hours, and then later in 2004 to Kevin Federline, who she was married to for three years.
Given her past relationships, Britney likely knows how hard it is to find someone you want to spend your life with. Amidst all the comments wishing her well on Instagram, there was also a hilarious and wise gem from actress Octavia Spencer, who wrote, «Make him sign a prenup.»
April 3, 2019: Sam Asghari supports Britney Spears during her mental health treatment
After her father, Jamie Spears, became seriously ill when his colon spontaneously ruptured in November 2018, the singer revealed that she would be taking an indefinite break from preparing for her next Las Vegas show, Domination, to support her father.
During the tough time, Spears checked into a facility for «all-encompassing wellness treatment» in April 2019. That’s when Asghari stepped in to play a bigger role in supporting Spears as she dealt with her father’s health scare.
A Spears family source told PEOPLE, «There is no question that Sam is great for Britney. He has a very positive influence on her. He is very motivated to stay healthy and fit, and they often work out together.»
Asghari also often cooks healthy meals for the star, and «he is a wonderful boyfriend,» the source added.

In June 2021, Spears spoke at a conservatorship hearing in Los Angeles, spending 30 minutes telling Judge Brenda Penny by phone, «I’m not happy. I can’t sleep. I’m depressed. I cry every day.»
Following the singer’s explosive court appearance, a source told PEOPLE that Asghari — who wore a #FreeBritney T-shirt on his Instagram Story ahead of the hearing — has been the singer’s «rock.»
«Sam has been Britney’s rock for years. He makes sure that she eats well and works out,» the source says about Spears’ boyfriend. «She leans on him for everything. He works and has his own life too, but is around as much as he can.»
It’s a sentiment Asghari made clear in February when he spoke to PEOPLE about being by her side following the release of an unauthorized Hulu documentary on Spears’ life and conservatorship.

Sam’s manager Brandon Cohen shared the engagement news in an additional statement.
Brandon mentioned he was «proud to celebrate and confirm the engagement,» according to People.
«The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them,» he continued.
Brandon concluded that Sam «couldn’t be happier to be involved and make this one-of-a-kind ring.»

Jamie, 69, recently filed a petition to end the singer’s conservatorship to Los Angeles Superior Court on.
The paperwork stated that Britney «is entitled to have this Court now seriously consider whether this conservatorship is no longer required.»

Ventura County Sheriff’s Department told the PA Media that an altercation had taken place with security officers. ‘Mr Alexander had been charged with four misdemeanour offences of trespassing, battery and vandalism,’ the Sheriff reportedly noted, per the BBC’s reporting.
‘He was able to find his way onto the property and was confronted by security,’ a police spokesman said. ‘An altercation occurred with the security officers and that’s where the battery occurred… and during the altercation an item was broken, so that’s where the vandalism comes into play. And by being on private property, the trespass comes into play.’

A day after filing for divorce, Asghari shared a statement on Instagram.
«AFTER 6 YEARS OF LOVE AND COMMITMENT TO EACH OTHER MY WIFE AND I HAVE DECIDED TO END OUR JOURNEY TOGETHER,» he wrote. «WE WILL HOLD ONTO THE LOVE AND RESPECT WE HAVE FOR EACH OTHER AND I WISH HER THE BEST ALWAYS.»

They rang in the new year together at Catch LA, where they seemed cozy and in great spirits leading up to a midnight kiss. She seemingly confirmed suspicions of a blossoming relationship with an Instagram post showing Asghari with his arm around her shoulder.
Fans may be surprised to know that their new relationship was nearly a missed connection. After their initial meeting, the Princess of Pop dug up Asghari’s phone number out of her bag nearly «five months later,» she revealed in a January 2017 radio interview.
«I was like, ‘He was really cute, this guy was really cute,’ so I called him,» she said. «He’s just a really fun, funny person.»
MAJOR WIN
Britney recently won a major victory in her conservatorship battle so she could get married after years of being banned from doing so.
Her father Jamie officially filed end his time as her conservator after about 13 years of having control over her estate and personal matters.
Jamie asked the judge to terminate the conservatorship without another mental evaluation.
Britney previously said that she did not want to undergo a mental evaluation while testifying in court back in June.
Sources told the outlet that Jamie made the decision to end the conservatorship due to public pressure, as well as the pressure put forth by Britney’s attorney Mathew Rosengart.
Additionally, insiders said the Toxic singer’s view of her father and their relationship has not changed despite the filing.
Britney is believed to still be extremely angry at him over his role in the conservatorship.
The entertainer’s next court appearance will take place on September 29, where she planned to the issue of termination to be front and center.
It was previously reported that the purpose of the next hearing will be to discuss Jamie’s involvement in the conservatorship.
August 6, 2022: Britney Spears and Sam Asghari respond to Kevin Federline’s claims that her sons don’t want to see her
Spears and Asghari responded to her ex-husband Federline’s comments to The Daily Mail, in which he claimed that his two sons with Spears are choosing not to see her.
Spears shot back with an Instagram Story saying, «It saddens me to hear that my ex-husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children.»
«As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone. It concerns me the reason is based on my Instagram. It was LONG before Instagram,» she continued, referencing Federline’s comment about how the boys react to their mom’s social media posts.
Spears added, «Only one word: HURTFUL.»
Asghari supported his wife with his own Instagram Story. «There is no validity to his statement regarding the kids distancing themselves and it is irresponsible to make that statement publicly,» he wrote. «The boys are very smart and will be 18 soon to make their own decisions and may eventually realize the ‘tough’ part was having a father who hasn’t worked much in over 15 years as a role model.»
He added that he doesn’t know Federline personally, but he has «nothing against him aside from him choosing to vilify my wife.»

Sam and Britney first met when he starred in her video for «Slumber Party,» which was filmed at a mansion in Beverly Hills. In 2018, Sam told Men’s Health how he tried to charm the ultra-famous pop star.
